Muslims believe that they are ascending closer to God by reciting the Quran. Muslims should recite the Quran in a manner that is easy to understand and follow. 

The Quran was written approximately 1,400 years, divided into 114 chapters. Muslims are instructed to read through the Quran from start to finish once every day. Muslims also recite several verses from the Quran at various times throughout the day. Ascending to heaven while reciting verses from the Quran is one of the Five Pillars of Islam.
